RIVA Reinforced Compressor Kit for Yamaha
Our SUPER-Duty GEN-4 SHO / SVHO Boost Shaft Kit offers the ultimate reliability for high-boost applications. The kit includes a revolutionary hydraulic stabilizing bearing that limits shaft deflection and wear.
The bearing stabilizes the end of the compressor shaft with a film of high pressure oil, greatly increasing the stability of the system. Hydraulic end bearings and one-piece shaft bearings are powered by a thru-shaft lubrication system providing superior lubrication.
The oil is conveyed through a braided stainless steel line and injected into a billet end cap housing a hydraulic bearing. The shaft is precision machined from a single piece of high strength billet steel producing a shaft, collar and gear in one piece.
This eliminates the point of failure common on stock shafts where OEM gears are pressed onto the shaft. The shaft also features larger diameter threads and nut for added strength.
The kit includes a new one-piece bearing with an increased surface area providing improved shaft stability. Bearings feature superior material and finish treatment to reduce friction and abrasion resistance.
This shaft and bearing kit directly replaces the original parts and does not require any additional modification.
